Welcome!

I am an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Drake University and the director of Drake’s Artificial Intelligence Program. My research is in the field of algorithmic randomness, a sub-branch of computability theory.  I am also interested in the philosophical foundations of algorithmic randomness and computability theory, and more generally, in the philosophy of mathematics.

You can find out more about me from my CV.  You can read more about my research interests and download preprints of my articles here.  The slides of some recent talks are available here.  My teaching experience and interests are discussed here.  My contact information can be found here.
